- Materials: cast urethane, acrylic, 5052-H32 aluminum
- Fasteners: #4-40, #2-56 CSK machine screws
- Motors: 625rpm/15oz-in Micro Metal Gearmotors, 7.5deg Unipolar Stepper

h2. Machining
- Aluminum templates were machined from a waterjet, but can also be milled on a CNC.
- Bent parts were formed using a small sheet metal bender and large pliers.
- All countersinks for flathead screws added post bending
- Rocker blocks machined on a 3-axis mill manually, but could be automated.
- Standoffs cut from aluminum rod and drilled and tapped on a lathe.

h2. Finishing
- After all part forming is complete, burs are sanded or filed off
- Each part is sandblasted for a uniform surface and to break sharp edges
- Paint primer can be applied at this time
- Basecoat is applied and allowed to cure for several hours

- John Deere offered to powder coat chassis components - can do black, green, yellow, tan
