Design¶

• Mechanical
  • Large PVC "leg" mounted to heel of pedal
  • 17/16" bore 1" stroke pneumatic cylinder mounted in PVC
  • the business end of the cylinder sticks out of the PVC and pushes on the pedal
  • old shoe covers the foot area, old jean leg covers the PVC
  • solenoid valve and electronics located above cylinder in PVC

• Electrical
  • located inside the pvc tube above the solenoid valve
  • take in 2 digital signals, 12V, 5V, and ground
  • switches the two sides of the solenoid valve high in accordance to the signals
