  • Mechanical
  • Double Arm Structure
    • Forearm (solenoid actuated) and wrist (servo actuated)
    • Forearm retract cannot contact drum (adds velocity only)
    • Drum hit is accomplished by servo positioning
      • Must ensure that solenoid duty cycle (10%, max 60sec per activation) is not exceeded
    • Heavy base with mounted circuits
    • brass tubing creates raised structure, held together by stay cables
    • Large solenoids mounted on base, connected to thin rods
    • drumsticks held dynamically in pvc foam holder
    • pvc foam holders pivot on brass structure, connected to the thin rods
  • Electrical
    • 2 signal pins in, 5V in, 12V in, Ground in.
    • 2 outputs, which are 12V corresponding to the signal pins.
