Redmine Task #1950 (Worksforme): Replace out-of-stock LDO on Scoutflyhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/19502012-01-15T23:24:30ZAbraham Levkoy

Scoutfly uses an LDO (MCP1702, I think) that was in low stock across several distributors last time I checked. Determine whether this item is still in production. If it is not, replace it with another part in the next Scoutfly iteration.
Task #1898 (Fixed): Add Doxygen link to Coding standards pagehttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/18982011-10-31T21:48:14ZBen Wassermanbwasserm@andrew.cmu.eduTask #1868 (Duplicate): Scoutfly Boardshttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/18682011-10-23T08:02:38ZPriyanka Deo

Finish designing Scoutfly board so we can get it printed.
Task #1733 (Fixed): Compile list of changes for ScoutFlyhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/17332011-06-24T02:58:15ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Compile list of errors/changes to update Scoutfly layout from Kevin Woo's emails.

To start:
Fix orientation of FFC connector (it's backwards)
Change gyroscope? model numbers in email.
Bug #1585 (Fixed): Fix DS2786 Footprinthttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15852010-11-16T13:19:04ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Currently pads are too far apart (top and bottom sides of the IC). Should be a 3x3mm package, currently modeled as a rectangle?
Bug #1533 (Fixed): Resize drill holes for USB Mini Bhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15332010-10-21T21:33:07ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

USB Mini B connector does not fit on the Scoutfly boards properly - rectangular leads at the bottom into a small drill hole. Recommend enlarging the drill hole.
Bug #1491 (Fixed): Clean up BOM pagehttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/14912010-10-09T19:32:21ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Has reference to ranging bom -- move this into old section.
Enhancement #1469 (Fixed): Spring return on rocker pivothttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/14692010-10-04T06:03:23ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Design a few concept methods of spring return. Emphasis on very simple, low part count, and cost. Must be <$1 assembled.

Thinking a medium length (1-2") extension spring attached on the rear baseplate, vertical section and the front pivot block sides.
Task #1431 (Wontfix): Spec front air filter foamhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/14312010-09-22T01:15:20ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Front side panels are covered (inside) with open cell foam (gray/black). Find a thin foam suitable for some dust protection, possibly removable for cleaning?
Bug #1096 (Fixed): Orb Reflectorshttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/10962010-02-10T00:49:44ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Design reflectors for orbs & hood
Task #999 (Fixed): Colony III Membershttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/9992010-01-14T17:58:44ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Define systems that need worked on
- Charging
- AVR (inputs, outputs)
Task #986 (Fixed): Charging Station Fusehttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/9862010-01-14T01:50:16ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Opted to put a fuse in the charging station/system instead of the Scout.
Enhancement #971 (Fixed): Remove led bar and use individual LEDs insteadhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/9712010-01-11T03:55:59ZKevin Woo

red, green, same as the FTDI's

Add 1 more of each so that we can fully utilize those pnps

Task #818 (Fixed): Battery Testinghttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/8182009-10-23T02:13:58ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Purchase more batteries and research LiIon charging, for ARCHS
Task #504 (Fixed): Reading Quadrature Encodershttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/5042009-05-21T16:30:47ZAnonymous

Arduino Mega only exposes 6 ext interrupt pins, but we need 8 for all four encoders. As per discussion with A. Buchan we should be able to read these w/ another IC and using I2C to communicate w/ the main controller.
