Redmine WCTU - Task #2087 (Assigned): Create v1.0 JS Client Revision 1https://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/20872012-10-15T21:34:59ZBrent StryskoColony Scout - Task #1920 (Assigned): Get Old Boards and Funding Infohttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/19202011-11-13T04:46:19ZPriyanka Deo

Talk to Brian Kirby and ask him for the 10 or so new & populated colony III boards he has, so we can swap them with the old ones.

And how/where he got funding to make the colony III fleet.
Colony Scout - Enhancement #1797 (Assigned): Design SmartFly Smart Acessory Reference Boardhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/17972011-10-08T03:34:26ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Based on Arduino Pro Mini (schematic) - see http://www.roboticsclub.org/redmine/projects/colonyscout/wiki/ECESmartAccessoryRefDesign
Colony Scout - Task #1727 (Assigned): Update Boards on Eaglehttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/17272011-05-03T23:06:35ZPriyanka Deo

Make changes on Eagle that have been made to the boards.
Colony - Bug #1574 (Assigned): wl_basic_do_default(int *length) doesn't set *length to zero if no...https://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15742010-11-12T02:37:38ZAlexander Lamazl@andrew.cmu.edu

Either need to add code to preset &dataLength = 0 in /home/lama/projects/colony/trunk/code/projects/traffic_navigation/main.c (rev 1867) before calling wl_basic_do_default, or change wireless lib to set *length to zero.
Colony - Task #1570 (Assigned): Implement Intersection Behaviorhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15702010-11-09T00:28:18ZBen Wassermanbwasserm@andrew.cmu.edu

This ticket is to keep track of the entire Intersection Group. Post comments on progress as it happens.

Subtasks are:
Wireless reliability - Ben
Collision Avoidance - Willis, Alex Z
Line Following Implementation - Jeff, Dan J (honorary member of group)
Police Bot - Joseph
Determining turn directions - ?

People to be assigned jobs: Priya, Jeff
Colony - Task #1556 (Assigned): Profile different mapping surfaceshttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15562010-11-01T23:45:52ZJohn Sextonjsexton@alumni.cmu.edu

Record the mean intensity and the standard deviation for 4 different surfaces we are interested in:
- Printer paper
- Large construction paper
- Plotter poster paper
- Black tape
Colony - Task #1534 (Assigned): Add Line Following to Libraryhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/15342010-10-22T21:34:22ZAlex Zirbelazirbel@andrew.cmu.edu

Line following should be callable like wireless - once per loop, call
followline(int speed)
And line following should quickly take care of the rest.

We should also include a function to turn 180 degrees on a line.
Colony - Task #1439 (Assigned): Check/Order robot battery clipshttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/14392010-09-24T22:04:20ZAlex Zirbelazirbel@andrew.cmu.edu

We have a broken male (?) power connector - the part on the robot that the battery plugs into. We need to make sure we have replacements for these and order some if not; in any case, someone needs to fix the broken bot.
Colony - Task #1389 (Assigned): Figure out rangefinders grouphttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/13892010-09-03T20:47:27ZAlex Zirbelazirbel@andrew.cmu.edu

Check on the rangefinders, since the group wasn't at the last colony meeting.
Colony - Task #1387 (Assigned): Conclusion on filter designhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/13872010-09-03T20:44:26ZAlex Zirbelazirbel@andrew.cmu.edu

Check with Emily on the filter design, and reach a decision on the next thing to do.
HyLo - Task #1014 (Assigned): Meetinghttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/10142010-01-15T22:45:29ZWil Hamiltonwil@cmu.edu

Set up a "normal" meeting time
Colony - Enhancement #798 (Assigned): get all the library inti's and functions to behavehttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/7982009-10-21T23:08:08ZBrad Neuman

multiple init calls should not cause undefined behavior
Colony - Bug #790 (Assigned): XBee/Wireless Initializationhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/7902009-10-20T01:38:01ZJohn Sextonjsexton@alumni.cmu.edu

XBee and Wireless Init functions seem to conflict. dragonfly_init() appears to call xbee_init() [found in serial.c in libdragonfly], while wl_init() appears to call xbee_lib_init() [found in xbee.c in libwireless]. The two functions appear to be arguing over what to assign a few registers.

We found that to get the XBees to work, xbee_init() needs to be called again after drangonfly_init(), but before wl_basic_init_default() [which basically just calls wl_init()].

We also are not confident that calls to wl_set_channel() are working correctly, or if the channel is getting re-initialized by calls to xbee_init()/xbee_lib_init().
HyLo - Bug #636 (Assigned): type proposed proposalhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/6362009-09-23T12:55:33ZWil Hamiltonwil@cmu.edu
