Redmine Task #1339 (Invalid): Whamola Demo Programhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/13392010-04-30T23:48:35ZAndrew Burksaburks@andrew.cmu.edu

We need a program for demoing the whamola at MOM. The features required are:

Buttons for each note the whamola plays
Keyboard links for each button

Notes Whamola Can play:
E,F,F#,...,E maps to A,B,C,...,M
Packet form: [71A],[71B],[71C],...,[71M]

Note the due date
Task #1246 (Fixed): Solder Relays for Snarebot Solenoidshttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/12462010-04-08T01:15:59ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu

Make the MOSFET relays for (2) snarebot solenoids.

These should take a 5V signal from Arduino pin and channel at least to 2.5A sustained.
Task #1006 (Wontfix): Drum bothttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/10062010-01-15T19:09:28ZAndrew Burksaburks@andrew.cmu.edu

Bot which can play the snare, toms, and optionally a crash symbol, cowbell, etc.

Due dates:
1/29: Model proof of concept, get approval for part orders
2/19: Constructed proof of concept, begin final design
3/12: Full model developed, get approval for part orders
4/02: Finished product, bug proof and ready for integration into orchestra
Task #670 (Fixed): New Communications Paradigmhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/6702009-09-29T21:06:04ZMike Sandbothemsandbot@andrew.cmu.edu

Design and implement the way we will be communicating to the robots. Check the wiki for ideas we brainstormed.

Also some information I found about MIDI is that it functions in "ticks" which are signals sent out every 10 milliseconds. Also midi sends when to stop and end each note. Both of these can be worked around but this information may be useful.
Task #642 (Fixed): high hat proposalhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/6422009-09-24T00:43:51ZAndrew Burksaburks@andrew.cmu.edu

timeline and budget
Task #641 (Fixed): piano proposalhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/6412009-09-24T00:43:14ZAndrew Burksaburks@andrew.cmu.edu

timeline and budget for whamola project are due wed. 9/30/09. be sure to prepare for your first meeting. if you want help running whamola, let me know. a stringed instrument in 6 weeks is hard.
Task #638 (Fixed): Plan first interface/communication meetinghttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/6382009-09-24T00:39:55ZAndrew Burksaburks@andrew.cmu.edu

Outline what you want to go over, create a timeline for the project.

Send an email to everyone soon so they can prepare ideas for sunday.

Timeline info: keep in mind that you can't really code until you've decided on a new paradigm, so get that done within a few weeks. I suggest building seperate composing and orchestrating software so that we can just run text files by the end of october on our current instruments.

Good luck, ask if you need help

PS, i attached the old flash stuff and arduino stuff. the arduino IDE/loader is free from their website.
Task #500 (Fixed): Update Repositoryhttps://roboticsclub.org/redmine/issues/5002009-05-09T11:52:11ZDan Shopedshope@andrew.cmu.edu
