- Quadrotor admin password sa**** - let me know if you want it
- Panda
- Need to get ROS communicating over wireless via a roscore on an external computer
- Get a router!
- Test some version of RGBDSlam
- Test the new ROS-Mikrokopter drivers
- New git repository
- I moved our old stuff over.
- Carbon Fiber is hard to find in 8x8!
- We should just grab some aluminum and design the frame
- Need volunteers; design review in 1 week
- Build guardrail
- Harrison created a model and emailed the guy at the machine shop
- How to fly the quadrotor
- Come to meetings
- Spend 2 hours on the simulator (it's on bumblebee)
- I'd like to use the old quadrotor as our toy. Let's build that and fly it a lot.
- Put someone in charge of photos/videos/twitter/youtube?
- Flew a weight test
- MikroKopter can lift about 2 pounds (lifted the large gear in the shop)
- Kinect currently weighs 1 pound, but we'll cut the frame and cut down
- PandaBoard is a fraction of a pound. So we have no issues.
- Where to mount the Kinect?
- On top means we don't lose field of view when we move forward. We also don't land on the Kinect
- A lot of other projects put it on the bottom, where there's more space and maybe less motor interference.
- Once we have the foam, we may also be able to put it on the front of the quadrotor's X shape.
- Tickets Assigned:
- Make a private repository for ROS-MikroKopter driver stuff
- Order 8x7 carbon fiber
- Tom - design aluminum frame
- Update twitter (Nick/Jeff?)
