Foosball Robot

Foosball robot Currently image processing software is underway to track ball position and orientation of each foosball player. By tracking the state of the field at any given moment and taking into account basic physical interactions, the robot will attempt complex structured shots to win the game.

The gallery below shows the start of our vision processing work - We have a perspective change, ball detection (where the red circle is an initial guess and the blue circle is the final determined position of the ball), and player detection.

While our team is strong on software and foosball skills, we are recruiting those with mechancial experience to design and construct an actuation system that can be added to a regulation table with mimimal modifications.
