New Partnership with Trinity Robotics!
FEBRUARY 15, 2012 | ALEX ZIRBEL
The Carnegie Mellon Robotics Club is excited to announce a new partnership with a budding collegiate Robotics Organization! We have have been working with the Trinity Robotics Club, at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland as they establish themselves and begin to do exciting work.
The Trinity Robotics club is Ireland's first University based robotics club. It is located in the main campus of Trinity College, in the heart of Dublin city. The TCD Robotics club was established to give Engineering and Computer Science students in Trinity the opportunity to get involved in state-of-the-art Robotics research and to gain practical multi-disciplined Engineering experience that is supplemental to the courses currently being offered to them.
The Trinity Robotics club is engaged in a wide range of robotics projects ranging from Robot-Sumo to humanoid robot design and this is expected to increase further over the next 12 months. In addition to the robotics projects, the club offers both free Introduction to Robotics lectures and various teaching resources for people interested in learning more about robotics and artificial intelligence.
